Reporting to the
Workshop Supervisor, the
Trade Assistant will be working alongside our Tradespeople to assist with maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and machinery.
Within our Large Engines department you'll be using the forklift to transport equipment and parts throughout and assisting in strip down/assembly processes of CAT components.
Location:
Guildford
Roster: 5Days 2Off X- 5Nights/Afternoons 2Off X- 10H Shifts - rotating roster. 1 Saturday in a 4 week cycle. Opportunity for overtime.
To be successful the following is required:
- Proven experience of Trade Assistant work is highly advantageous
- Forklift License is essential with Dogging highly desired
- Caterpillar Dealership and engine overhaul experience highly advantageous
- Good attitude with a strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
