About the Role

As Head of Department (Curriculum), you will have responsibility for (but not limited to) the following key areas for both schools.


  • Developing and implementing a rigorous formalised wholeschool approach to moderation (all 4 phases).
  • Seek to work in collaborative teams across the cluster to strengthen all moderation processes.
  • Build capability of teachers with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Build professional relationships across the cluster and between schools.
  • The ability to lead teams of teachers across multiple schools.
  • Lead the schools in Version 9 changes to the AC.
  • Strengthen Academic Case Management processes.
  • Work alongside teachers in the classroom to strengthen and build capability with high impact pedagogical practices.
