Your role
As the first point of contact, Community Service Officers (CSOs) are the backbone of the Child Protection Helpline.

You will be responsible for providing a number of services, not just to our callers but also to our Helpline staff.


What you'll do


You will provide a telephone answering and referral service to assist Community Services employees, members of the public and mandatory reporters who contact the Helpline.


What we're looking for


We are looking for Community Services Officers who will provide a telephone answering and referral service to assist members of the public and mandatory reporters who contact us.

Previous contact centre experience is an advantage but not essential


The Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012 requires persons engaged in children related work to have Working with Children clearances.


Preferred Requirements

  • Applicants who have a TAFE Diploma or Certificate in a relevant field, welfare/community services and/or relevant work experience deemed to be the equivalent.
  • Applicants currently studying a degree in a relevant field are also strongly encouraged to apply
  • A Current driver's license
