About the Role


We are currently seeking to appoint a Scheduler to join an Asset Construction Team who will have the primary purpose to schedule and produce reporting of capital projects listed in the One Year Operational Plan and Four Year Delivery Plan as well as those projects which are created throughout the operational year.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Create, oversee, maintain and review project, program and portfolio schedules via an Integrated Master Scheduling tool (IMS)
  • MS Project
  • Coordinate with program teams to update schedules and maintain accurate Portfolio status.
  • Produce reports for management of progress against a baseline and milestones to assist in decisionmaking and risk management.
  • Provide assistance to project managers and project teams as required and offering guidance and coaching to project managers in the establishment and maintenance of their project schedules. Produce forward planning schedules.
  • Produce monthly Scurve and scheduling reports
  • Provide technical advice, and train users in, the use of IMS and MS Project.
  • Assist Project Management Office (PMO) with systems development.

About You

  • 35 years of experience in a planning/scheduling role.
  • Experience as a project/portfolio/operations planner in scheduling and tracking multiple projects and program.
  • Extensive knowledge and strong proficiency with Microsoft Project software
  • Previous experience in construction projects is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding in creating and maintaining master schedules.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Power BI
