In this integral role the Project Coordinator (Student Administration) will be responsible for project coordination and providing administration support to a range of student administration projects, encompassing the functional areas of admissions, scholarships, academic credit, enrolments, and assessment.


Key priorities will be to

  • Develop a sequenced and detailed plan to achieve high priority objectives and record and communicate key milestones.
  • Support project leads to understand deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Provide support and enable the achievement of major initiatives and complex process improvement.

  • Highly organized and proactive, ability to use initiative, operationalise strategy and think innovatively.
  • A critical thinker who is comfortable to articulate and document the development of appropriate options.
  • Comfortable in evaluating alternatives and supporting the implementation of integrated and equitable solutions to complex workplace challenges.
  • Collaborative and able to liaise to build professional relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • Exceptional written communication drafting reports and proposals and can manage multiple tasks concurrently.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain an overarching project plan which will be supported by documented sub plans, reports and other governance documentation tracking the project status.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and lead project working groups, scrums and the management of project artefacts including Project SharePoint Sites.
  • Work to identify risks and issues and introduce mitigation opportunities, aligned to Project Governance.

What will help you succeed

  • Degree qualified with at least 4 years of relevant work experiences in education or training.
  • Demonstrated experience working within complex projects and the facilitation and coordination of project activities within a university environment (will be highly regarded).
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement that includes relevant exposure in the benefits of working collaboratively with people across diverse backgrounds and experiences, with exposure to providing robust, risk mitigated advice on appropriate policy and procedures.
