About the Role
Our client is seeking a reliable, experienced

Forklift Mechanic who offers a positive, can-do attitude in all that they do


As a vital member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our long-term clients on a variety of material handling equipment which includes breakdowns, fault finding and servicing of our hire fleet.

Duties:
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Maintain professional level of customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets, and any other administrative components
  • Upsell parts and service upgrades as appropriate
  • Ensure the service van is stocked appropriately and maintained in a clean and satisfactory state and stored safely after hours
  • Work in the workshop as appropriate and maintaining the workshop in a clean and tidy state

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position or have transferable skills
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Motor Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle/Plant/Diesel Mechanic)
  • Must Hold a valid current Driver's License
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Physically fit
  • Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
