Gm Fleet

The position of General Manager Fleet & Network is responsible for the leadership, development, and performance of all aspects of the Toll IPEC fleet and network.

Core to the accountabilities in this role will be the management of risk, process and resources to ensure safety and compliance is priority number one.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team for Road Express, this role will own the strategy, systems, processes to ensure the fleet and network is working optimally and delivering DIFOT performance.

Further, this role has accountability for the strategic development of the fleet and network delivery model(s), ensuring these meet the future needs of the business and market.

This is a leadership role that is accountable for embedding a value led, high performance culture.

Key areas of focus- Work proactively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the development of business strategy and planning.- Develop the Fleet and Network strategy, ensuring plans, priorities and capability across people, technology and assets.- Translate strategic objectives into actionable priorities.- Build overall capability, ensuring the right mix of resources for current performance (in the business) and future performance (on the business).- Develop and lead significant change through an optimisation program of work relevant to Fleet & Network.- Lead the strategic process and initiatives to deliver the best fit residential delivery model for TGE IPEC.- Work proactively with TGE with respect to network optimisation and integration- Ensure metropolitan and regional PUD operations are optimised, inclusive of best fit model with respect to sub-contractors.- Ensure the regional network is working optimally, delivering to DIFOT, cost and performance standards - inclusive of commercial arrangements and performance of agents.- Manage commercial and performance arrangements with major subcontractors as provided.

- Establish performance standards, benchmarks and KPIs across Fleet and Network

To be successful in this role you will have significant commercial experience in senior roles leading performance and product project management activities, including budgeting and forecasting.

You must be degree qualified in either Business or Engineering, along with proven experience in operations/supply change leadership (minimum of 10 years' experience in similar management role).

Demonstrated leadership on operations management within Australia including managing a range of network assets is essential, coupled with experience and knowledge on strategic management of a national network operations, including service delivery levels and seasonality of industry demand and supply.
