About the program:
The EVP is a pilot that offers financial assistance and confidential support to help people move forward and set up a home that's free from violence.
The Uniting Care Network is delivering the EVP program nationally, on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Social Services, with program partners in each state.
People experiencing violence can access the EVP via a webpage portal and support phoneline. The EVP teamwork Monday to Friday and are located across Australia.About the opportunity:
This role is a senior operational position that is responsible for the leadership of the Uniting Vic Tas component of the Escaping Violence Payment (EVP) Program.
The position will provide line supervision to the EVP managers, drive priority initiatives and work collaboratively with the consortium Partners delivering the program.
About you:
- Bachelor level in relevant professional discipline (preferred), master's level in management or equivalent (preferred).
- Significant experience in developing and leading complex (and large scale) community services programs including those supporting people experiencing family violence.
- Significant and demonstrable leadership experience working across state and federal jurisdictions.
- Extensive experience working with multiple stakeholders including Uniting Church, government and corporate partners.
- Significant experience in high level financial and budget management.
- Strong and demonstrated capacity to lead, manage design and development of systems and reporting.
- Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills.
