We are seeking a reliable and hardworking
-
Large Format Digital Printing Operator for our clients leading printing business located in Shailer Park.

  • Initial training on day shift for around 2 weeks 7am3pm, then move onto afternoon shifts 2:30pm10:30pm.

YOU NEED TO BE RELIABLE AND PUNCTUAL

This role would suit a person who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, is flexible and enjoys working as part of a highly successful and efficient team

Own car and current drivers licence (Provisional or above):
  • Working rights for Australia
  • Available Monday to Friday for
    Afternoon Shift:
  • Steel Capped boots
  • Have 2 x work related references that will be verified

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Digital print machine operation and maintenance
  • Setup, operation and monitoring of large format printers
  • Maintenance of machines and diagnosing and rectifying basic problems and machine faults
  • Loading and unloading media to and from roll and flatbed digital printers
  • Coordinating and prioritising your work and workflow
  • Maintaining a high standard of workplace cleanliness
  • General signage preparation and finishing where required

Skills & Experience
A highly motivated, reliable person who is a good communicator, problem solver and embraces accountability.

A wide range of industry experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

  • Physical fitness for manual labour
  • Willingness to learn
  • Have organisational skills with the ability to run multiple jobs
  • Be flexible and able to work to strict deadlines
  • Disciplined follow up of critical tasks
  • Due to fast turnaround times, you will be able to think on your feet, make sound decisions and your focus on attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Adaptable, prompt, punctual and reliable
  • Adhere to WH&S requirements

This work involves manual labour (bending, lifting, twisting). Work can include coating large banners with productive layers, organizing jobs on the cutting machine, rolling banners for distribution and general organization / cleaning in the warehouse
