General Manager CBD Pub Monday - Friday $100-115k + S

Our client is a small pub group, best known for their successful multi-facted venues across NSW.
With a reputation for professionalism and hands-on leadership, they foster a supportive environment for both their team and clientele.

A rare opportunity as General Manager for one of their CBD venues, with a great work life balance attached has arose for a well rounded operator with good knowledge of all major revenue streams & a passion for quality a la carte in a pub setting.


Position Overview:

As the General Manager you will manage operations across the bar, restaurant, function spaces, and gaming areas, reporting directly to the group general manager.

This role includes overseeing staffing needs, leading a team of professionals, training new hires, and managing key business operations such as financial reporting, stock control, and general back-of-house duties.

The role will also have a big focus on establishing concept & service standards into the busy period with potential renovations around the corner.


Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations of bars, dining areas, and gaming sections.
Handle all staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
Inspire and manage a team of professionals to achieve high performance and engagement.
Oversee financial operations including cost management, P&L, and KPI tracking.
Manage stock orders and conduct regular inventory checks.
Ensure smooth functioning of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Provide regular updates and reports to the owner on operational status.
Maintain high standards of customer service and venue appearance.
Adapt to dynamic environments and work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications:
Extensive experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry.
A community-oriented approach with a supportive and positive management style.
Proven experience in fast-paced food service and event functions.
Strong background in gaming and TAB operations.
Self-driven with the ability to lead by example.
Proficient multitasker with a hands-on approach.
Solid understanding of financial operations (advantageous).
Capable of performing well under pressure and adapting to change.
