This executive position play a key part in the organisation C-Suite Leadership Team and is accountable for leading a successful product line, including product strategy, people leadership, and business performance.

Our client is seeking an experienced CPO who is passionate about driving their growth and scalability journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Leadership:
Manage overall performance of the product line, ensuring team delivery, financial viability, revenue targets, budgets, forecasts, expenses, and profitability.
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to drive business success and competitive advantage.
Ensure appropriate business controls, including expenditure, resource management, product and service plans, and proactive risk management.
Oversee financial, legal, regulatory, and information security reporting.
Contribute to brand and marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.

Lead product business development, revenue growth, and market expansion through collaboration with the Commercial team on sales strategies, customer acquisition, and partnership development.


Product Leadership:
Develop and execute comprehensive product strategies aligning with the company's vision, goals, and market opportunities.
Lead end-to-end product delivery, including client implementations, onboarding, and management.
Build and mature product management capabilities, including roadmaps, feature development, and resource allocation.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Ensure the highest standards of product quality, technical excellence, security, and compliance.
Monitor terms of service, performance, capacity, and customer satisfaction using industry best practices and feedback mechanisms.
Champion products internally and externally, articulating their value proposition, vision, and benefits to stakeholders, customers, and partners.

People Leadership:
Lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals across product design, development, and management.
Create a security-aware culture thriving on innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Manage team member performance, retention, and health, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Role model communication, accountability, and responsibility.

What You've Got:


Proven track record in leadership roles, with at least five years of experience in product management and sales within the software industry.

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of product management methodologies, agile development practices, and technology trends.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of translating high-level vision into actionable plans.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
Passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in driving product excellence and customer satisfaction.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent engagement and communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Ability to manage concurrent activities and empower others.
Equal measures of enthusiasm, patience, and drive.
Desire to make a difference every day.

Education and Experience:
Experience leading a product team, including people, financial, and client relationship management.
Experience taking new products to market.
Experience in international product sales, client onboarding, and support.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Experience with public sector organisations, particularly in health and public safety, is highly desirable.
At least five years of relevant CPO experience.

Work Eligibility:
Must be an Australian Citizen, based in Australia.

This role is based in Brisbane, with an expectation to be in office regularly according to business, team, and client requirements.

May be open to interstate candidates willing to relocate to Brisbane.
