We're a collaborative team working closely with service teams in Azure to build and deliver tools and platforms to help scale and develop Awesome Azure Artifacts like Command lines experience on clients and documentation.

We are also devoted to build unified and comprehensive Azure client tooling experience.

Working on these tools involves building code generators, building tooling around industry standard specification like the Open API Spec, backend validation services and front-end experiences too.


We are heavily engaged with Azure community on Github Being part of this team will give you the opportunity to work with Microsoft and Non-Microsoft technologies like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI (command line tool) and Azure Terraform.

These tools provide a powerful and flexible solution for managing Azure resources, making it easier for administrators to keep their environment up-to-date and secure.

These are open-source cross-platform command line tools for Azure users to manage Azure resources and carry out their end-to-end scenarios related to Central IT in Enterprise, including Identity, Networking, etc.

Helping our customers to deliver Infrastructure as code to manage and operate their Azure resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Guides partnership with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements within and across teams.
  • Optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Guides team to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers).
  • Guides team and acts as an expert for Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and monitors other engineers across product lines, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
  • Leads product development and scaling to customer requirements and applies best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and holds accountability for products that do not meet expectations.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

  • 4+ years people management experience.
