What this job involvesAs the Onsite Handyperson, you will play a pivotal role in providing our client with a professional, responsive and effective level of service specifically related to various facilities functions within their site
This role is responsible for the everyday general repairs and maintenance, work order management and optimisation across all aspects of the client's property portfolio in Hobart.
A snapshot of the role:
Minor building work and furniture repairs/alterations
General and preventative maintenance of office buildings and other facilities
Remove and/or install whiteboards, plaques, signage and screens
Patching and painting as required
Building and maintaining strong relationships with the client, contractors, trades persons and suppliers
Support the Facilities team in administrative functions, minor works projects and reporting as and when required
This role has the responsibility and duty of care to work safely and to protect yours and fellow workers health and safety.
Sound like you? This is what we're looking for:
Previous experience in a maintenance role
Trade certification or licence in a relevant field will be highly regarded
Experience using hand or power equipment
Strong interpersonal, decision making skills and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our clients requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Australian Security Clearance.
