You will be responsible for managing program governance and coordinating the annual and ongoing program planning, development, prioritisation, scheduling, monitoring and performance reporting to senior management.

You will also engage with a range of stakeholders across TMR to proactively manage successful program delivery.

You will have a leadership role within a small program office and ensure expert advice is provided to the program Board and supported by accurate program reporting including financial, risk and schedule reporting.


Accountabilities include:

  • Manage the annual program development, prioritisation, program reviews and monthly delivery performance reporting activities for the passenger transport infrastructure component of QTRIP. Manage the provision of Program Office support and coordination services to the PTIIP Steering Committee and Advisory Group and TransLink program and project managers. Work closely with project managers to ensure they have a comprehensive and detailed understanding of TMR's project and program management frameworks, and in particular, provide leadership for the program development and delivery functions, including financial systems and program development and delivery systems. Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders (TransLink Division Finance, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams, District program management and project controls teams, Portfolio Investment & Programming (PIP) Branch), providing strategic input and advice to facilitate the planning, delivery and evaluation of public transport projects. Monitor and report on program performance, drive for continuous improvement processes for performance reporting, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of dependencies and required coordination throughout the life of the program. Identify, manage and report on program risks and issues and evaluate options to resolve issues and mitigate risks. Provide strategic advice and input into processes for infrastructure projects and programs, including governance standards and guidelines to facilitate consistent delivery of quality costeffective public transport investments. Mentor colleagues and project managers within the Infrastructure Planning and Delivery teams to develop and maintain strong project and program management skills. Enable informed decision making on project and program issues by developing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for stakeholders and program boards.
