We have an amazing opportunity for a Yard Hand to join the Alimak Group team in Dandenong.

Your main responsibility in this role will be to support our onsite installation teams in the accurate delivery of Alimak systems and products to construction sites in Victoria and around Australia.

This role will report directly to Yard Supervisor for Victoria. A high level of professionalism, honesty, and desire to achieve is anticipated. True legends need only apply

Key Tasks:

  • Pick, prepare, and load components, parts, and fittings for delivery and return.
  • Ensure general logistics and warehousing duties are carried out.
  • Yard maintenance and upkeep are always at the highest level.
  • Other duties will also include stocktaking, some off site work, helping other departments and general administration.
  • You will work in a small team where some autonomy maybe required in the completion of your daily duties from time to time.

Attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (or show the drive and determination to learn a new role)
  • Forklift license
  • Warehousing and logistics certificate is preferred but not mandatory
  • Willingness to learn and excel with the company ERP system
  • Reliable and hard working (Show up on time, every time ready to work and learn)
  • Willingness to learn new skills and ideas (Use every opportunity as a learning experience)
