The Role

Joining the Site Capital team as a Senior Portfolio Analyst reporting to the Site Capital - Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a comprehensive database of projects to support strategic decision-making and ensure the successful delivery and profitability of capital ventures in Australia. Collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization is essential for achieving key objectives. The ideal candidate should exhibit proactive qualities and possess a versatile skill set aligned with Albemarle's values.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance

  • Comprehensive understanding of capital project cashflow, forecasting, and financial control topics
  • Development of reports reflecting the site's capital portfolio, covering investments, engineering aspects, and scheduling
  • Creation of models to facilitate project prioritization decisions
  • Engagement with internal stakeholders and contribution to annual planning processes

Operational Finance

  • Knowledge of operational cashflow, forecasting, and asset management
  • Collaboration with various functional areas within projects and management teams
  • Support for audit requirements and monthly performance analysis
  • Assistance in tracking KPI variances and financial results

Business Improvement

  • Identification of improvement areas and implementation of solutions
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Strategic thinking for project delivery optimization
  • Utilization of platforms for project prioritization and data analytics

About You

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in project delivery or controls
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in operational and/or engineering projects
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education / Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business
  • CPA or CA qualification preferred
