Additional Information:

  • These roles are permanent parttime, 40hrs/fortnight & 50hrs/fortnight.
  • As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area
As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Commercial:

  • Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
  • Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
  • Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
  • Active selling, cash handling and customer service.

As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:

  • Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
  • Experienced with working in a fast paced, handson environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
  • Enthusiastic about working within a team of likeminded people.
  • Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
