A Snapshot of Your Day

  • As a Client Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity through order entry and deliver the successful sales campaigns and customized service for Steam turbine & Generator portfolio in Oil & Gas, Mining, Industrial and Power Generation market segments. We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional who will actively manage a designated account base creating business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be expected to liaise with the customers O&M team for early business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure
- orders for Siemens Energy products and services. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • The Sales Manager or client manager acts as the lead the dedicated accounts will cover the upstream, midstream, and downstream O&G and industrial market in the assigned territory.
  • The role will have a single face responsibility with the assigned customers for all products under the BU. The customers are commonly the international and national oil companies, engineering consultants, licensors and EPCs. Significant sales growth in the assigned / defined territory is expected.
  • This position will report to the Sales team leader in Malaysia.
  • The areas of responsibilities cover the following:
  • Responsible for Sales and profitability targets for the assigned territory / customer base.
  • Leverage your key interpersonal and inquisitive skills to continuously build your customer knowledge to expand and create opportunities and sales for
- profitable business growth.

  • Ensure and improve Customer Satisfaction and experience with Siemens Energy
  • Manage and update the Customer Key Stakeholders map and develop Customer Account Strategy Plans for all assigned key customers.
  • Enhance relationships with relevant stakeholders and prospects leading to pipeline generation and ultimately to achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Play a key role in developing and promoting campaigns and plans to help drive effective sales
  • Proactively providing feedback and suggestions on the development and evolution of our bids as well as feedback on our Wins & Losses.
  • Maintain timely market and competition situation analysis

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering required with minimum 5 years of experience in Energy industry and at least 5 years in Sales/ business development role.
  • Turbo machinery experience required: Strong technical understanding of the gas turbine, compressor and steam turbine is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization, strong analytical and strategic thinker with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
  • Strong passion and proven success in achieving profitable business growth
  • Good understanding of the oil & gas and industrial market in Malaysia and extensive relationships across the customer organizations
  • Distinct customer orientation, strong customer interface skills
  • Demonstrable evidence of successful projects or service business execution and Contract negotiation and management experience
  • Team player with >5 years working experience, who can influence and collaborate with multiple external and internal stakeholders.
  • Local Multi language skills desirable
  • Must be willing to travel.
