FINANCIAL ANALYST

Contract: 3 months
Pay: $51.26/hour + super
Location: Werribee

Role Overview:
Assist in statutory financial reporting functions and contribute to the operational success of the business unit, supporting senior staff and management through effective performance of responsibilities. A background in fixed assets accounting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
⢠Complete the organisation's statutory financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
⢠Manage financial and accounting responsibilities, including financial modelling and cash flow management
⢠Deliver high-level service to internal and external stakeholders
⢠Provide financial advice and training to other organisation business units
⢠Contribute to operational success of the department and org
⢠Implement and maintain sound risk management practices

Requirements:
⢠Oracle experience
⢠Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Council policies
⢠Understanding of applicable taxation and financial legislation
⢠Strong financial modelling and cash flow management skills
⢠Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Additional Information:
⢠Role involves providing advice on finance and accounting policies
⢠Responsible for creating a risk-aware environment within the team
