We are looking for a talented Business Analyst with a background in retail and a focus on backend systems to join the loyalty platform implementation team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on similar projects, with a deep understanding of retail operations and customer loyalty programs. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of our new platform and drive maximum value for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business objectives for the loyalty platform implementation.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of backend systems, data structures, and integration points to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Work closely with IT and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Partner with vendors and third-party providers to assess and integrate loyalty platform solutions into existing backend systems.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of the loyalty platform and identify areas for optimization.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for backend issues related to the loyalty platform, working closely with IT support teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training materials and documentation for backend users of the loyalty platform.

    Qualifications:

    • Many years experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on backend systems and retail operations.
    • Experience working on loyalty platform implementations or similar projects in the retail industry.
    • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of backend systems, databases, and integration technologies.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.

      The position is based in Melbourne, Australia.

      Hybrid work arrangements are available, providing flexibility for a healthy work-life balance.
