- Fixed term until oct 2024 with possible extension
- $85K + Super
The Role
- Oversee food production and menu-based catering across the site
- Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents
- Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
The Person
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
- Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
- Experience in the healthcare sector highly favoured
- Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management
