The Role

  • Oversee food production and menu-based catering across the site
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders including residents
  • Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness 
  • Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating

The Person

  • Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
  • Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control 
  • Experience in the healthcare sector highly favoured
  • Strong commercial acumen with good inventory management
