Secondary Physics Teacher

This vibrant and prestigious independent girls' school located in the vibrant Inner West of Sydney, known for its commitment to academic excellence, holistic education, and empowering young minds are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join their faculty and contribute to the intellectual development of its students.

As a Physics Teacher at our school, you will be responsible for:

1. Delivering engaging and effective physics lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum.
2. Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
3. Differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promoting a love for learning.
4. Establishing a collaborative and supportive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.
5. Contributing to the development and enhancement of the physics curriculum.
   To be considered for this unique role, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to delivery high quality and innovative physics lessons. You'll be committed to the holistic development of your students, including their intellectual, social and emotional well-being. You'll have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, colleagues and parents. The successful teacher will also have the ability to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the physics curriculum.
   
   This role is a 12 month contract with the potential to go permanent. Term 2 start.
   

   Requirements:

   • Current NESA accreditation to teach in NSW & current NSW Working with Children Check
   • Bachelors degree in education or higher
   • Physics teaching experience
   • Be able to demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
