Clinical Project Manager (Oncology)

Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager with expertise in oncology to join the team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead complex oncology studies and drive the successful execution of multiple clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex oncology clinical trials, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, investigators, and vendors, fostering strong relationships and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Develop and implement strategic plans and innovative approaches to optimise study performance and address challenges in oncology research.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, proactively resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations, to support the growth of the oncology portfolio.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical project management within a CRO setting, with a focus on oncology studies.Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas, including solid tumors and/or hematologic malignancies.Proven track record of successfully managing complex clinical trials from start-up to close-out, including experience with study start-up activities, site management, and data management.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Experience working in a small business environment and a demonstrated interest in implementing new strategies and change management processes.Proficiency with project management tools and systems, including MS Project or similar software.
