THE POSITION

  • Reporting to the Senior Procurement Analyst this role will see you provide commercial support to Foodbuy procurement and sourcing teams.
  • Support the development, collation and analysis of financial and other value-based inputs through to sourcing events and providing insights.
  • Working with big data you will play a key part in developing impactful dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Liaise directly with management team to understand detail for objectives as assigned.
  • Deliver reports to the Procurement team.
  • Have ownership of product cost mapping reference with full breakdown of supply chain’s value chain.
  • Maintain commercial models/templates customised to category/function of support.
  • Collate data and produce reports, including pipeline initiative tracking/validation and trend analysis on usage data.

 

THE PERSON

  • Ability to effectively extract and collate data from various sources to present findings and insights back to the business.
  • Tertiary Degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) or Finance related courses.
  • Sound knowledge of economic principles of product pricing and costing.
  • Intermediate Excel with solid understanding of VLOOKUP, index match and pivots.
  • Basic Tableau, SQL and MS Access development skills.
  • Experience in visualisation tools (Tableau or Power BI) and development of commercial insights through data.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to influence and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent data modelling skills
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work with high volumes of data.
  • Self-starter and a status quo challenger.
  • Passion for results and puts high value on professional integrity and responsibility.
