THE POSITION
- Reporting to the Senior Procurement Analyst this role will see you provide commercial support to Foodbuy procurement and sourcing teams.
- Support the development, collation and analysis of financial and other value-based inputs through to sourcing events and providing insights.
- Working with big data you will play a key part in developing impactful dashboards and performance metrics.
- Liaise directly with management team to understand detail for objectives as assigned.
- Deliver reports to the Procurement team.
- Have ownership of product cost mapping reference with full breakdown of supply chain’s value chain.
- Maintain commercial models/templates customised to category/function of support.
- Collate data and produce reports, including pipeline initiative tracking/validation and trend analysis on usage data.
THE PERSON
- Ability to effectively extract and collate data from various sources to present findings and insights back to the business.
- Tertiary Degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) or Finance related courses.
- Sound knowledge of economic principles of product pricing and costing.
- Intermediate Excel with solid understanding of VLOOKUP, index match and pivots.
- Basic Tableau, SQL and MS Access development skills.
- Experience in visualisation tools (Tableau or Power BI) and development of commercial insights through data.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to influence and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent data modelling skills
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work with high volumes of data.
- Self-starter and a status quo challenger.
