The Position
We are currently seeking a Trade Qualified Plumbers to join our established Delta FM Maintenance team who work on our remote accommodation sites. This role will be a Permanent Ongoing 14&14 Days Only Roster at BHP Olympic Dam Accommodation Village. Shifts are 12 Hour Days (11 Hours Paid). We are offering flights, meals and accommodation included FIFO from Adelaide, SA. Locals are encouraged to apply on a DIDO basis with accommodation & meals also included. OD Village includes facilities such as Modern Dining Areas, Pool, Gym, Basketball & Tennis Courts.
The Role
- Work as part of the Delta FM Trades team on site
- Village and facilities maintenance, attending to planned preventative and reactive maintenance requirements
- Assist with work from various departments as required
- Repair and maintain plumbing, washers, pipes, drains
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets etc.
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks
The Person
- Trade Qualified Cert III in Plumbing or Australian Recognised Equivalent
- Current SA Plumbing Licence
- Valid Full C Class Australian Driving Licence
- White Card
- Provide a National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 12 months)
- Confined Spaces & Working at Heights highly regarded
- Able to complete a Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screening
- 3+ years in Domestic and Commercial Plumbing
- Previous FIFO ore remote work experience highly regarded
- Successful record of upholding and implementing safety standards and practices
- Ability to work remotely on a fly in, fly out basis with an ongoing, permanent roster
