We are working with our valued client located in the southern suburbs to source long term candidates who are passionate about working for a successful Australian manufacturing company. Are you mechanically minded with experience working in manufacturing and production? Have you considered becoming a machine operator or getting a forklift license? Looking for a career change? On offer is Day shift, 6:30am-2:30pm with an immediate start.

Experience that would be beneficial

Prior experience in a similar machine operator or production worker role. Alternatively, skills such as the following are transferable;

  • Hand and power tool experience
  • Assembly line experience
  • Warehouse
  • Picking and packing
  • Machine operation
  • Forklift licence

    What you will be doing:

    • Operating carpet manufacturing machinery.
    • Loading and unloading material on carpet machinery.
    • Processing of data in relevant systems.
    • Moving material with a forklift.
    • Quality control of carpet.
    • Participate in regular training. Share experiences and cross-train other team members.
    • Participate in regular operations sessions and contribute in a productive manner.
    • As required, actively contribute to the continuous improvement, eliminating waste and development of the business.
