Sydney, Australia Beam Suntory Full time
What makes this a great opportunity?

United by Suntory’s Yatte Minahare spirit, the permission to dream big and the determination to make it a reality, we’re embarking on a new chapter of growth, as we partner with Suntory Beverage & Foods Oceania to create Suntory Oceania, a new multi-beverage powerhouse across Australia and New Zealand. Underpinned by our diverse talent, market-leading brands, quality craftsmanship and a strong sense of purpose as partners we will create Oceania’s fourth largest beverage player with over $3bn in retail sales.

With an inspiring growth trajectory ahead, there has never been a better time to join the Suntory family. From July 2025, we will own local manufacturing, sales, and distribution for our full portfolio of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages. By harnessing the best of Suntory from across Australia and New Zealand, we will offer a unique portfolio of over 40 market-leading brands – powered by two local manufacturing sites, five distribution centres and more than 1500 Suntorians.

The Supply Chain Director role will be an integral leader on the Oceania Business Unit (BU) cross functional leadership team as well as sitting on the Asia Pacific Supply Chain Fulfillment leadership team from a functional standpoint. The position will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Oceania supply chain strategy (in line with Global strategic expectations) and the execution of that strategy through leading a combination of functions within direct management control and with the support of third-party Co-manufacturing and Logistics partners. The Supply Chain Director will have a direct reporting team within the Supply Chain Fulfillment function (Supply, Logistics, Customer Service) and a combination of matrix reporting functions across New Product Commercialisation, S&OP & Demand and Quality areas. The role will also be a critical sponsor to Beam Suntory Oceania’s enterprise transition project from our current Co-Manufacturing & Distribution partner to Suntory Beverage & Foods Oceania, which will execute in mid-2025 in Australia and early 2026 in New Zealand.
