The Position;

• Assist in the planning and supervision, of the food production and menu-based catering
• Successfully mentoring and developing a kitchen team including kitchen hands, cooks and chefs
• Assist in menu development and planning for functions, events and group dining
• Work variety, with opportunity to engage with group organisers and coordinate dining room activity.
• Champion the significance and accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls
• Oversee Rostering, procurement, stock control and other administrative duties related to a senior chef position

The Person:

• A highly skilled and energetic hands on leader with the ability to switch from café style fare to fine-dining and functions and events
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious eating with food safety and allergen management compliance.
• Strong emphasis on modern, well-being, inspired menus with a focus on visual presentation
• Must have experience in bulk cooking menu development and costing
• Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain
• Ability to engage with key stakeholders in Centre Management, Duty Managers, Camp organisers and customers alike.
• Availability to work a (very flexible) rotating 7 day roster
