We are a leading player in the waste management industry, dedicated to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join our team as a Weighbridge Administrator at our facility located in Hampton Park.
Position Overview:
As a Weighbridge Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the weighbridge, ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing waste materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the weighbridge operations, including weighing incoming and outgoing vehicles carrying waste materials.
- Ensure accurate recording of weights and data entry into the company's database or software systems.
- Coordinate with drivers and other personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow at the weighbridge.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall site operations and goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in administrative roles or within the waste management industry is highly desirable.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in data entry and the use of relevant software applications.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
