Parks Worker

Are you passionate about preserving natural beauty and enhancing outdoor spaces? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Parks Workers. As a Parks Worker, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of parks, natural areas, roadside vegetation, and landscape improvement activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute operational activities to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of parks and natural areas.
  • Undertake landscaping tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
  • Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment used in gardening and landscaping activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

    Qualifications, Training, and Licenses:

    Essential:

    • White card
    • Certificate II in Horticulture.
    • AC/DC commercial operatorâs license unrestricted class.
    • Medium Rigid (MR) driver's license.

      Desirable:

      • Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and Tetanus immunization â may be essential if assessed as high risk.
      • Additional mechanical and handheld gardening equipment licenses (e.g., Ride-On Mower).
      • Plant Operating tickets.
      • Traffic Controller's certificate, Chain Saw, pole saw, chemical application certificates.
