Randstad are currently recruiting Medium & Heavy Rigid drivers for work in Launceston and the greater area. The duties include but are not limited to:
  • Operating medium / heavy rigid trucks
  • Taking receipt and delivering cargo
  • Completing all required documentation including log books and time-sheets
  • Manual handling duties where required
  • Undertaking basic truck inspections

    What you need

    Recent truck driving experience such as MR driver, HR Truck Driver or Delivery Driver and a clean driving record. A minimum of 12 months operating experience in your license class. You will need to be safety focused, with a high level of physical fitness and willingness to perform manual labour when required.

    • Current Heavy Vehicle licence (HR or MR)
    • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential
    • Load restraint and gating/strapping experience
    • An aptitude for mechanics.
      As part of the recruitment process you will be required to undertake the following:
      • Urine based drug and alcohol screen
      • Pre Employment Assessment
      • Police Check
