Looking for a happy friendly positive helper to assist on our cattle station in Qld.

Our Central Queensland cattle property.is Approx. 1 hr 10 min from Clermont (86kms on the Clermont Alpha Road including approx 40kms of unsealed Gravel Road); 2 hrs from Alpha and 2.5hrs from Emerald, Qld.

The job will include but not limited to helping around the homestead by doing the school run pickup and Drop off - 27km each way (Son 9 yrs); Homework help, General house cleaning including: Kitchen tidy up, Floors vacuum and mop, bathroom, making beds, Dishwasher unpack re pack, Laundry – Washing folding and put away, basic cooking(slices Muffins for smokos); Gardening and the odd station work of feeding weaners, checking stock waters, fences and yard work (drafting branding and mustering) when help is needed.

Your own transport is necessary as we are located 86 km from town.

Fluent English is important.

You will be provided with accommodation in a shared 3 bedroom cottage air conditioned beside the main homestead, meat(beef), internet and power. Great wage for 5 days a week (Monday 6.30-4.30, Tuesday – Friday 7.30 – 4.30). Min. Period of 3 months or longer for right applicant.

Must be able to start ASAP with a genuine love of children, the outback and rural lifestyle while being a competent driving of a manual 4x4 vehicle on gravel roads.
