About the Opportunity 

As the leader of the New Starter Program, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the training of new starters primarily for the Flight Centre Brand. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the facilitation of the training program, managing the training team, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders. 

  

What you will be doing: 

  • Co-ordinate training roster for each Nation and State trainer 

  • Liaise with L&D team with updates regarding the NSP 

  • Communicate with business leaders regarding individual performance in training 

  • Continual assessment of potential improvements to the NSP 

  • Oversee the training environment and flag any potential issues with relevant IT/systems management 

  • Run Future and Team Leader meetings quarterly for FCB 

  • Oversee State Alignment attendance 

  • Facilitate FCB Training Session for TL Meeting Training 

  • Conduct Team Leader Pulse Check-in calls weekly 

  • Facilitate training, key updates, and programming with premium suppliers 

  • Liaise and manage HR policies and procedures within the NSP 

  • Assess competency and expectations’ requirements of both new starters and the program itself 

  • Communicate with FCB recruitment, overseeing programming and candidate placement 

  • Continual assessment of new starter feedback via touchpoints 

  • Support FCB Leaders and drive results 

  • Retention of New Starters 

  • Track Pulse Check data and support leaders 

  • Facilitate ODP Roster and meet with FCAT leaders 

  • Manage training resources and laptops 

  

You'll be perfect for the role if you have: 

  • Proven experience in a leadership role (5+ years), preferably in a training or learning and development capacity 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders 

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to coordinate training activities and manage team schedules 

  • Adept at problem-solving and identifying areas for improvement in training programs 

  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures is advantageous 

  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights to drive program effectiveness 

  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment 

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements within a dynamic organization
