About the Opportunity

This is a unique role that requires a dynamic individual with a passion for the support of our consultants (and ultimately customers) and the sale of product (GDS, land, sea, Global Land Supply), airfares and general troubleshooting in the Flight Centre Independent space.

As an Independent-focused team member of ProHub consultant support, you will be required to help the team deliver on the overall Product Strategy of Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) and support the ongoing increase in volume in the Independent space. 

You will be responsible for creating a long-term trusting relationship with our Member Agencies and Travel Partners, internal teams, and stakeholders.

The position can be based Australia-wide in all cities with FCTG head offices - Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.

What you will be doing:

  • Air, Land, Cruise, Hotels, borders and visa support
  • Booking maintenance escalations
  • Post departure risk escalations
  • Crisis support
  • Quality assurance of outsourced tasks
  • Escalation of product gaps
  • Back-end financial and ticketing escalation investigation
  • Troubleshooting
  • Risk mitigation
  • Strategy alignment
  • Fares and ticketing advice
  • Supplier relations for waivers and favours
  • FCTG Independent Workplace Knowledge Library maintenance, issue resolution and conflict resolution

What you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years travel industry experience is essential
  • Minimum 1 year Leadership experience
  • Extensive product knowledge (GDS admin, Air, Land and Cruise)
  • Strong understanding of Leisure and Corporate fares and ticketing
  • Ability to handle high volume of enquiry and manage multiple enquiries at any given time
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills – utilising a wide range of channels
  • Problem-solving and root cause identification skill

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday with flexible options available
