About:

Our client, an established third tier builder with a reputation for delivering Architecturally striking projects are looking for an Estimator.

Overview:

Weâre looking for an Estimator with a background in creating winning tenders in the new build construction market in the $5-$15 million bracket. To be considered, you will be financially/ mathematically astute and understand material costs, subcontractor pricing and how to independently create competitive tenders. You may have worked as a quantity surveyor, or a cost planner before moving into estimating and be ready for your next move. Duties will include managing the estimating and tender processes, preparing a scope of works, developing programmes, reviewing contracts, vetting quotes, measuring quantities and managing the post-tender process while working within a team environment.

Requirements:

  • A track record of winning financially successful projects.
  • Three + years estimating experience
  • Third tier construction background
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Highly IT Literate with first class communication skills
