The Opportunity

The Onboarding specialist will be responsible for Customer store change requests and new store activations within agreed SLAs,Process improvements by testing in-house tools functionality and capacity and In case of incidents, is able to work under pressure to rollback changes applied to the stores.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Keep track of incoming change request in JIRA (Dashboards available), analyse them and complete within agreed SLAs.
  • Investigate on recurring occurring challenges and issues within the tool and platform, report to L3 teams and follow escalation channels until resolved.
  • Periodically update documentation and provide new procedural documentations when required.
  • Be a team player and be able to provide training or backup for peers.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Tertiary degree in a relevant technical discipline (Engineering / Computer Science / Software Engineering).
  • Experience in Linux environment.
  • Database knowledge(Postgres, SQL), Scripting ( Python, Bash) desirable.
  • Experience in Payments or any retail technology products and services is a plus.
  • Apart from above mentioned technical expertise, we look for someone who is:
    • Customer & business oriented
    • Committed, self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a positive “can do” attitude.
    • Work autonomously within a team environment.
    • Must enjoy working within a changing and dynamic organisation.
    • Ability to work well under pressure with the ability to set and manage priorities.
    • Proven interpersonal skills in relating to developers, systems engineers and other technical specialists.
    • Very good communication skills (both written and spoken) in English.
    • Ability to comprehend complex, technical subjects.
    • Ability to translate technical language and concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Attention to detail and quality of work.
    • High level of reliability and integrity.
    • Ability to work with different Cultures in a global and complex environment
