Develop your hospitality skills and embrace a unique environment in a Kitchen Hand position, integral to providing support to the catering team at Northern Heritage Motel (Cairns). Join the team and receive full training and support while working with a dynamic environment.

The Position:

• Casual position
• Assist with basic preparation including vegetables and salads.
• Stock control including quality reporting and temperature monitoring.
• Maintain kitchen, food preparation, storage and service areas and equipment to a high standard with a strong awareness of hygiene and food safety standards.

The Person:

• Must have a manual drivers licence
• RSA
• Hospitality experience beneficial.
• Knife handling, food safety and preparation skills are a plus.
• Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Can do attitude and drive to jump into any task required.

Candidates will be required to undertake an Australian national police check. This will be paid for by the Company.
