Location: Launceston
- Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, including the ability to understand, interpret and apply accounting standards, undertake general ledger maintenance and prepare financial statements.
- Demonstrated ability to make use of high level analytical, statistical and problem solving skills, and draw on a working knowledge of budget and finance information systems, to produce relevant and reliable management accounting reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of the complex environment of health service provision in the public sector, including the impact of emerging issues on DoH reporting requirements, or the ability to quickly acquire such an understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accept responsibility, work both under limited supervision and as part of a team, assess priorities, and plan and organise workloads to achieve required outcomes within tight timeframes.
