Duties and responsibilities:

  • Remediating a range of privacy complaints and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking projects on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the implementation of new systems, processes and practical tools within the Privacy team.
  • Building capability and expertise within the team, sharing knowledge and awareness across the organisation and working in accordance with the highest professional and ethical standards.

    Your profile will demonstrate:

    • Experience in a similar role - i.e. Privacy Officer, Freedom of Information, GIPA, etc.
    • Desirable - knowledge of the Privacy Act 1988.
    • Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
    • Australian citizenship (mandatory).
