Broker Relationship Manager

Consumer asset and personal loans are a huge area of growth for Latitude Financial and our fast-paced business is growing rapidly, not to mention new products and loads of growth opportunity.
Our Relationship Manager is responsible for strengthening & expanding their portfolio by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with brokers in Melbourne CBD & Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, supporting them with the distribution of personal and asset loans .
This role will require working closely with our State Manager and various internal support and processing teams, ensuring a smooth broker loan application process and a positive customer outcome.
The successful person will need to:-
Identify, develop, evaluate and pursue leads and opportunities to maintain a continuing pipeline of current and future prospects. Build and strengthen relationships with brokers who distribute consumer personal and motor loans while at the same time developing and growing internal stake holder relationships. Establish territory plans and a CRM strategy which align to our growth objectives. Deliver presentations to third parties highlighting our products and capabilities. Support ongoing training, compliance coaching and help their brokers develop business growth and identify diversification opportunities. Commit to business goals/targets, driving results through collaboration and problem solving with our sales and support teams.
You will be supported by an energetic team, with ongoing training and encouragement and a manager who has a very high care factor for the team.
About you
You've already fine-tuned your relationship-building skills from previous B2B Sales focused roles, where you successfully managed multi-level relationships, both internally and externally.
You flourish in an autonomous environment and have a hunger for continuous improvement.
Being a fast-paced work environment, you need to come ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
You'll be on the road, managing your own schedule/visits and driving relationships.
Understanding of consumer finance, specifically personal loans and asset finance. Knowledge of credit underwriting practices in a fast-paced lending environment. Demonstrated success in new business sales in a fast-paced environment, consistently achieving targets and deadlines - both individually and as a team player. Passion for consistently delivering outstanding Customer Service. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to build long-lasting, positive relationships with brokers and dealers. You're a face-to-face communicator You have an innate ability to consume and interpret data and insights to drive performance outcomes, which will lead to improved customer satisfaction and engagement.
Desirable
Certificate IV or Diploma in Mortgage Broking and Finance, or similar Undergraduate degree in finance or related discipline Experience working with a CRM database. Salesforce preferred.
