  As Flight Centre's newest accountant, you will have broad knowledge across Leisure businesses and be adept at handling specialised tasks. This role calls for someone with meticulous attention to detail, proactive initiative in issue resolution and efficiency creation, strong time management abilities, and adaptability to changing environments.    Across our brand, we take our business seriously but not ourselves. We take leaps of faith, have trust in our teams and work collaboratively and take ownership of our business to achieve our goals.       Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support our Consultants with finance related queries within SLA timelines
  • Assessment and management of stores financial health and engage with area leaders and team leaders on the same.
  • Protect our business by monitoring and reviewing at risk items such as, outstanding cash, suspense transaction, negative customer ledgers and unreconciled transactions
  • Perform EOM Commission recognition process for Stores and related review checks.
  • Review and analysis of Store Profitability
  • Assist with cash disbursements and invoice payments
  • Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
  • Training and development for Consultants on finance related topics and expectations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes

 

 

Who you are:

  • Completed Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or
    similar or studying towards.
  • CPA or CA Qualified highly desirable.
  • At least 1 years experience in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate level required.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop
    relationships at all levels.
  • Proven teamwork skills.
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and
    pressure
