Guild Group is seeking an Analyst - Management Reporting to join our dynamic Finance team in Melbourne. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful, timely, and efficient management reporting across the Group. You'll support the planning and budgeting process to the Group CEO, GGH Reporting Manager and Finance Managers. The Analyst - Management Reporting however requires someone curious and keen to understand the drivers of what you are reporting and can use your critical thinking skills to provide insights, notice anomalies/trends and contribute to the broader finance roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance and embedding AASB 17 Communicate effectively with Finance and Business Leads to manage workloads and ensure the delivery of Provide timely management reports to the Group CFO & CEO and contribute to the Finance Roadmap for management uplift execution. Support strategic budgeting and planning submissions and encourage innovation in management reporting and planning. Develop systems and processes to achieve operational excellence in Finance Reporting and Budgeting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure impactful outputs. Integrate and embed APRA reporting for Level 1 & Level 2 entities. Assist with tax provisioning and income tax return preparation.
Requirements:

You have experience delivering insightful management and financial reporting ideally gained within the insurance or financial services industry. It would be amazing if you came with some technical knowledge of AASB 17. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and planning.
