THE POSITION

  • Assisting chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, and assembling meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and organizing storage spaces.
  • Assisting in monitoring inventory levels of food supplies, utensils, and equipment, notifying the team when stock levels are low and helping with restocking activities.

THE PERSON

  • Excels in assisting with food preparation tasks, from chopping veggies to assembling ingredients, ensuring seamless meal production.
  • Takes charge of maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, from dishwashing to surface sanitisation.
  • Keeps a keen eye on inventory levels and assists in stock management activities, ensuring ingredients and supplies are always at the ready.
