An excellent career opportunity exists within our Industrial Service and Equipment team for an enthusiastic, motivated sales representative to join our team based in Canning Vale.

The purpose of this role is to achieve personal sales targets by selling the Konecranes and Demag product range using technical, organisational, and customer knowledge to serve and assist customers by applying product solutions to their needs resulting in revenue generation.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Execute the entire selling process through sales leads, cold calls, creating demand and capturing orders
  • Building relationships and formulating product solutions and specifications based on customers' needs
  • Prepare quotations and tenders, negotiate terms and check all commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance in line with compliance requirements and other relevant policies
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of Handover documentation for each sales order in order to facilitate effective handover meetings to the Project Manager/ Project Engineer in a clear and timely manner
  • Ensure all activity and documentation relating to the interaction with the customer are recorded within the company CRM
  • Keeping abreast with new updates of products and services, as well as updating promotional and sales materials
  • Establish and maintain long-term customer satisfaction by way of periodic visits to customers to monitor performance of delivered products and services
  • Maintain awareness of, and compliance with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant WHS Acts, Regulations and applicable Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.

 

About you

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Australian standards in relation to overhead cranes/ hoists an advantage
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical designs
  • Ability to work with computer programs, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience using a CRM
  • Demonstrated high degree of organisational ability.
  • Possess excellent customer relations skills and have a methodical sale approach
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
