About our programs :

Shortlisted applicants will have a chance to meet on a one-to-one basis with the team manager, gathering further insights into the role and company. Look out for us at the campus events with UNSW, UTS, Macquarie, Sydney University, CA, and more. Intake dates - we recruit throughout the whole year to suit our business needs and can start at anytime in the year. Mentor/buddy scheme - As a Graduate, you will be allocated a buddy within the firm that you will meet during your first week, who is there to help you settle in. Your buddy will show you everything from how to log on, who's who, where the best coffee shop is located and much more. We will match you with one of our experienced professionals to help you develop and guide you through this important career stage. Training/learning - As a Graduate, you will have invaluable on-the-job training and skills delivered by experts within the business and external providers. We offer online learning via LinkedIn, sharing content on fundamental career skills on which to build the foundations of your career.
The Graduate position :
A Graduate position is a permanent full-time role where you are given the training and opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career. Graduate positions are open to students who have graduated within the last 15 months.
About the role:
Graduates get to assist the team by learning the basics of audit initially, which then allows them to have the foundational knowledge to grow in the role and take on further challenges in the audit team as time progresses. Ways the graduates can assist is setting up the audit files, requesting initial and further audit documents from the client, and assisting team members with testing key balances within an audit. Graduates will need to report to seniors and managers any findings they identify within an audit engagement on a regular basis. Graduates get to gain an understanding of the key drivers of a client through engaging and communicating with the client prior to and throughout the audit engagement. This in-depth collaboration allows them to understand how the business of the client operates, and as a result, identify key processes and material balances which could impact the audit opinion and financial statements. Graduates get on-hand exposure to the Forvis Mazars audit methodology by engaging in online training (U-Learn), regularly reading the manual and asking questions to seniors and managers, allowing them to identify how best to apply the methodology to their work and as a result the audit file. Graduates will be given opportunities to engage with key client stakeholders by holding meetings to discuss key processes at the business, as well as attending key audit meetings such as the audit kick-off and close meeting. They may also engage with key executives and shareholders depending on the key financial reporting requirements of the business requiring the auditor to engage with these stakeholders.
About You :
